Responsibilities




  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS and relevant accounting standards.

  • Conduct variance analysis and prepare financial reports for management review.

  • Monitor financial performance and advise on improvement areas.

  • Coordinate the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.

  • Track budget performance and highlight variances for management action.

  • Oversee day-to-day accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.

  • Ensure proper documentation and classification of all transactions.

  • Ensure tax compliance including VAT, PAYE, and corporate tax filings.

  • Liaise with external auditors and prepare audit schedules and supporting documents.

  • Implement and enforce financial policies, internal controls, and procedures

  • Manage cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity for operations.

  • Monitor bank transactions, reconcile accounts, and manage relationships with financial institutions.

  • Provide financial insights to support business decisions.

  • Evaluate investment opportunities, cost-saving initiatives, and financial risks



Qualifications & Requirements




  • Fully qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent).

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

  • Minimum of 3–5 years relevant experience in accounting or finance.

  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and tax regulations.

  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, SAP, or other ERP systems).

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • High level of integrity and attention to detail.
