Role Description

• This is a full-time on-site role located in Lagos for a SME Relationship Officer (Loan Officer).


• The role involves developing and maintaining relationships with small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), analyzing loan applications, conducting credit assessments, and managing loan portfolios.


• Additional responsibilities include providing personalized customer service, identifying potential sales opportunities, and assisting SMEs in accessing financial solutions that meet their needs.

Qualifications

• Strong Business Relationship Management skills, including the ability to develop and maintain relationships with SME clients


• Solid understanding of Finance, including loan assessment, credit analysis, and financial management


• Excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to address client queries and provide tailored solutions


• Sales acumen and the ability to identify business opportunities and cross-sell financial products


• Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills


• Proficiency in relevant financial software and tools


• Knowledge of the microfinance banking sector and local business landscape is an advantage


• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
