We are hiring a steward who will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene by washing dishes, restocking supplies, setting tables, and assisting guests, while sometimes also managing data or ensuring safety at public events.
Key duties include cleaning equipment, ensuring sanitation, supporting waitstaff, and providing excellent customer service, with roles varying from kitchen support to guest interaction and even union representation.
Responsibilities
Cleaning & Maintenance: Washing dishes, pots, and utensils; sanitizing kitchen equipment, dining areas, and restrooms; disposing of trash.
Setup & Stocking: Setting tables, stocking side stations with cutlery, glassware, napkins, and ensuring food/beverage supplies are replenished.
