Role Overview
- The Communications & Brand Associate supports storytelling, brand expression, and donor-facing communications across BROOT’s work.
- This is not a social media role. It is a role for someone who can think clearly, write creatively, and translate complex ideas into compelling narratives.
- You will support campaigns, fundraising initiatives, and advisory engagements through high-quality written and visual communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop brochures, donor materials, pitch decks, and case-for-support content
- Draft donor communications, follow-ups, and stewardship materials
- Support campaign messaging, ads, and awareness materials
- Translate strategic ideas into clear, persuasive stories
- Support proposal writing and client-facing presentations
- Work with designers and external creatives where required
- Maintain consistency in tone, message, and brand expression.
Experience & Background
- 2 - 5 years of experience in communications, brand, content, consulting communications, or related fields
- Experience with NGOs, fundraising communications, or impact-driven organisations is an added advantage
- Comfort working with senior professionals and complex subject matter.
Critical Skills & Capabilities:
- Strong storytelling and creative writing skills
- Excellent command of written English
- Ability to structure narratives for different audiences
- Strong visual sensitivity and attention to detail
- Analytical mindset; able to interpret insights and translate them into stories.
