Mission
- Responsible for actual monitoring and managing of supplier performance against the defined KPIs.
Description
- Resolve escalations as per defined escalation/resolution procedures
- Participate and provide inputs to project status meetings
- Propose operational changes and provide associated user impact assessments
- Ensure effective execution of day-to-day operations and at the Opco and resolve operational issues
Data Analysis & Insight Generation:
- Explore, cleanse, and analyze large, multi source datasets (ERP/AP, procurement, contract, risk, and operational systems) to identify trends, variances, and root causes.
- Produce clear insight packs and narratives that inform supplier performance reviews, category strategies, and Finance month end commentary.
- Develop scenario analyses and what if models for cost optimization, cashflow, working capital, and SLA/OTD (On Time Delivery) impacts.
Data Modelling (Semantic & Analytical);
- Design scalable dimensional models (Star/Snowflake) for Finance and Supplier Performance subject areas (e.g., Spend, POs, Invoices, GR/IR, Supplier Risk, SLA metrics).
- Build efficient Power BI datasets using best practices (e.g., surrogate keys, incremental refresh, aggregation tables, role based security).
- Optimize DAX measures and model relationships for performance and accuracy.
Dashboard Development (Power BI):
- Build and maintain interactive, user centric Power BI dashboards with drill through, bookmarks, and tooltips for executives and operational users.
- Implement consistent visual standards, data definitions, and metric catalogs (KPIs and KRIs) across reports.
- Manage dashboard lifecycle: requirements → UX wireframes → build → UAT → deployment → adoption tracking.
Automation & Data Engineering (Lightweight):
- Automate recurring data preparation and reporting using Power Query, Python, or SQL; orchestrate schedules via Power BI service or enterprise scheduler.
- Create robust, auditable workflows for monthly/weekly refreshes; implement alerting and data quality checks.
- Build parameterized pipelines for ad hoc analyses and rapid re use.
Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Data Science, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Fluent in English
Experience:
- 3-7 years’ experience in an area of specialization; with experience working with others
- 2–4 years in financial analysis, data analytics, or supply chain management.
- Advanced proficiency in Power BI, Excel, and SQL.
- Strong knowledge of financial modelling and scenario analysis.
- Experience with automation tools (Power Automate, Python, or similar).
- Experience working in a medium organization Working knowledge of Oracle
