Job Description
General objective
Support the procurement function by managing the purchasing of consumables, spares, services, chemicals, and operational items, ensuring timely replenishment, documentation accuracy, and compliance with procurement procedures.
RESPONSABILITIES AND TASKS
- Execute Consumables Purchase requirements.
- Manage Spares Purchase for machinery and maintenance.
- Process Service Purchase requests, including quotations and evaluations.
- Conduct Chemical & General Item Purchase, ensuring compliance.
- Perform Material Sourcing for non-raw-material items.
- Carry out Supplier Sourcing for operational categories.
- Collect and evaluate supplier quotations.
- Prepare purchase orders and ensure documentation accuracy.
- Track delivery timelines and coordinate with warehouse/maintenance.
- Maintain purchase records and supplier databases.
- Assist in vendor follow-ups and payment processing.
- Any other assigned responsibilities by line manager
REQUIERED SKILLS
- Language skills – English is essential.
- Education degree – HND/Degree Business Management, Marketing or related field.
- Work experience – Proven experience not less than 3–5 years in Procurement or supply Chain, FMCG/manufacturing procurement experience is a plus.
- Computer skills – MS Word, MS Excel & Outlook
