Job Description
Primary Objective
- Carry out development and detailed design engineering activities, including co-ordination with the various discipline groups, to engineer the next phase of minimal facility platforms (MFP’s) in the Gulf of Thailand.
Specific Accountabilities
- Perform engineering design duties associated with the development of the next phase of MFP’s, being designed by Worley.
- Duties will include equipment selection and specification, detail design in collaboration with designers and bid evaluation/ vendor document review and approval.
- Quality Assurance – Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance system relevant to the Oil & Gas Business Unit
- Safety – Responsible for personal safety safe working practices for the Oil & Gas Business Unit. Understand and follow OH&S procedures.
Requirements
- +10 Years Mechanical design experience in the Oil & Gas environment, including a minimum of 2 years experience in offshore developments.
- Engineering Degree in a relevant discipline
- Experience with the development of layouts for new facilities
- Experienced in the specification, evaluation and documentation of equipment for producing oil/gas fields
- Work is performed in accordance with broad technical guidelines and with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and prioritisation of work to achieve them.
