Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Pharmaceutical Regional Sales Manager responsible for driving sales growth, managing sales team, and achieving revenue targets within a specific geographical territory.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategy & Planning: Collaborating with senior executives to establish sales goals, forecasting monthly/quarterly/annual targets, and developing specific plans for regional growth.
- Team Leadership: Training, mentoring, and motivating a team of sales representatives. This includes setting performance goals and conducting regular meetings to foster a high-performance culture.
- Market Analysis: Monitoring market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities and tailor sales strategies accordingly.
- Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, distributors, pharmacies, and key hospital accounts.
- Performance Monitoring: Tracking and analyzing sales data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate performance and make data-driven decisions.
- Compliance: Ensuring all sales activities adhere to pharmaceutical industry regulations and company policies.
- Budget Management: Reviewing regional expenses and managing budgets effectively.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- A bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or a related field. MBA an added advantage.
- Minimum of 8 years in pharmaceutical sales, with proven experience in a similar managerial role.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- An in-depth understanding of the local pharmaceutical industry, market dynamics, and regulatory guidelines.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities to interpret data and adapt strategies.
