We’re looking for General Manager - Nigeria who will drive strong growth in all focus segments and representing Aggreko externally with all stakeholders.



What You’ll Do




  • Develop and execute go-to-market plans that anticipates market dynamics and enables the business to deliver revenue and EBITDA growth.

  • Drive the day-to-day performance of the business to meet agreed performance goals (revenue, EBITDA, working capital, utilisation, customer satisfaction, health and safety, employee engagement) and future growth.

  • Develop a cohesive and high performing team, in full alignment with the Africa region.

  • Drive the right culture aligned with the Aggreko values and leadership behaviours.

  • Manage talent to ensure the right capabilities are in place to deliver on current and future performance requirements.

  • Engage key customers and establish strong relationships; represent Aggreko externally with government institutions.

  • Ensure that the business is following all relevant laws and regulations in the country.



You’ll Have The Following Skills And Experience




  • General management experience, leading comparable businesses with a track record of delivering strong revenue and EBITDA growth.

  • Relevant experience in the energy sector, ideally with selling solutions and services.

  • Strong network with customers and other key stakeholders across Nigeria.

  • Proven people leader with demonstrated experience of building high performing teams. Must have experience leading sales.

  • Able to understand and navigate the local business context, including cultural and governmental aspects unique to Nigeria.

  • Has an entrepreneurial mindset; ideally experience in fast paced business environment.

  • Meet and exceed Revenue and EBITDA targets.

  • Build a pipeline to drive exponential growth.

  • Develop the team to reach their full potential and implement a credible succession plan.

  • Create and drive sustainable go-to-market plans for the Nigeria business.
