Job Summary
- The role is responsible for developing and facilitating Reward Strategies and Well-Being programs that attract, retain, and motivate employees while fostering a healthy, productive workforce.
- The role also supports Payroll Administration and all reward-related activities to ensure compliance, market competitiveness, and alignment with organizational objectives.
Roles and Responsibilities
Reward Management:
- Update and ensure integrity of staff compensation details on payroll system.
- Review/validate payroll-related schedules against relevant monthly payroll instructions.
- Process salaries and other benefits accurately and promptly.
- Support annual salary review, bonus, and incentive schemes.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and internal policies.
- Conduct market benchmarking and salary surveys to ensure competitive positioning.
- Develop and maintain compensation structures, salary bands, and benefits programs.
- Facilitate the processing of salary and pension account opening for all new staff
- Manage the relationship between the company and banks to ensure that staff get the optimal rates for consumer products.
- Compute and prepare the schedules for payroll-related deductions e.g. PAYE, pension contributions, Employee Compensation Scheme etc.
- Coordinate the processing of staff Tax Clearance Certificates (TCC).
- Track and handle payroll related queries/disputes.
- Compute exit benefits for exiting staff (retirement, resignation and termination).
- Prepare reports on compensation trends, benefits utilization, and well-being metrics.
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, and leadership teams to align reward and wellbeing strategies with business goals.
Well-Being Management:
- Design and implement employee well-being initiatives (physical, mental, financial wellness).
- Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors to deliver wellness programs.
- Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness and employee engagement.
- Communicate programs effectively to employees to drive awareness and participation.
Analytics and Reporting:
- Prepare reports on compensation trends, wellbeing program participation, and ROI.
- Use HR data to identify gaps and recommend improvements.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and organizational policies.
Requirements
Education and Experience:
- First Degree from a recognized university.
- Three (3) - Five (5) years experience in compensation, benefits, HR analytics etc.
Knowledge:
- Remuneration Analysis & Design.
- Compensation/Reward Management.
Skills:
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management
- Strategic thinking with attention to detail.
- Good knowledge of compensation frameworks and wellness best practices
- Problem solving, strong analytical & numerical skills
- Proficiency in HRIS, Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and other analytical tools
