Job Description



The Head, ICT Department will provide strategic and operational leadership for the organization’s information and communication technology function. This role oversees the planning, implementation, and management of ICT infrastructure to ensure stable, secure, and efficient digital operations. The successful candidate will drive technology initiatives that support business objectives, enhance operational efficiency, and proactively manage technological and cybersecurity risks.



Key Responsibilities




  • Oversee and manage the organization’s ICT infrastructure, including networks, servers, systems, and data platforms.

  • Ensure the reliability, security, and optimal performance of all ICT systems and applications, including banking or enterprise software where applicable.

  • Develop, implement, and maintain robust cybersecurity measures to protect data integrity and prevent breaches.

  • Lead the planning and execution of technology upgrades, system enhancements, and digital transformation initiatives.

  • Develop ICT policies, standards, and procedures, and ensure organization-wide compliance.

  • Provide strategic and operational technical support across the organization.

  • Monitor ICT performance, manage risks, and ensure business continuity and disaster recovery readiness.

  • Liaise with vendors, service providers, and internal stakeholders to ensure effective service delivery.



Requirements/Qualifications




  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

  • Master’s degree and/or relevant professional certifications (e.g., ITIL, CISSP, CISM, PMP, CCNA/CCNP) will be an added advantage.

  • Proven experience in managing ICT infrastructure, systems, and cybersecurity in a structured organization.

  • Strong knowledge of networks, servers, databases, and enterprise applications.

  • Demonstrated leadership, policy development, and compliance management skills.

  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
