Responsibilitles
Inventory Control:
- Monitor and maintain optimal stock levels to meet operational needs.
- Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile physical inventory with system records.
- Implement inventory control measures such as FIFO/LIFO for stock rotation.
Receiving & Dispatch:
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments, verifying quantities and quality against purchase orders.
- Supervise offloading, storage, and dispatch processes to ensure proper handling and organization.
Record Management:
- Update inventory databases and generate reports on stock levels, variances, and aging analysis.
- Maintain accurate documentation for receipts, issues, and adjustments (e.g., damaged or obsolete stock).
Coordination:
- Work closely with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely replenishment and distribution.
- Liaise with suppliers for quotes, delivery schedules, and quality compliance.
Compliance & Audits:
- Ensure adherence to company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct periodic audits and implement corrective actions for discrepancies.
Performance Indicators
- Accuracy of inventory records.
- Timeliness of stock replenishment.
- Reduction in stock discrepancies and wastage.
- Compliance with safety and quality standards.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or HND in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum 1–2 years in inventory management or warehouse operations.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office (Excel, Word).
