- The Pharmacy Trainee will assist the community pharmacist in delivering high-quality pharmaceutical care and customer service.
- This role provides hands-on experience in prescription handling, patient counseling, inventory management, and compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in dispensing medications accurately under supervision.
- Support prescription verification and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
- Provide basic patient counseling on medication use and storage.
- Maintain inventory control, including stock checks and expiry monitoring.
- Help in record-keeping and documentation for prescriptions and controlled drugs.
- Ensure customer service excellence by addressing patient inquiries professionally.
- Uphold confidentiality and ethical standards in all interactions.
- Participate in health promotion activities within the pharmacy.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Pharmacy (or currently enrolled in a pharmacy program).
- Basic knowledge of pharmaceutical calculations and drug classifications.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
