Position Overview
- The Hotel Chef is responsible for planning, preparing, and presenting high-quality meals, ensuring consistency, hygiene, and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and prepare menus that meet the hotel’s standards and guests’ expectations.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff, including cooks, assistants, and cleaners.
- Ensure all food is prepared safely, following hygiene and health regulations.
- Monitor inventory, order supplies, and manage kitchen budget effectively.
- Maintain consistency in taste, portion, and presentation of dishes.
- Innovate new recipes and seasonal menus to enhance guest experience.
- Collaborate with management on special events, banquets, and catering services.
- Maintain kitchen equipment and ensure cleanliness at all times.
- Manage food costs, minimize waste, and ensure efficient kitchen operations.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a chef in hotels, restaurants, or catering services.
- Formal culinary training or certification is preferred.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Creativity and ability to develop new dishes.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen hygiene practices.
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain high-quality standards.

Salary
N200,000 - N250,000 / month.
