Responsibilities

• Provided syllabi with learning outcomes based on the goals established by the school


• Mentored and supported pupils to ensure understanding and assimilation of subject matter


• Communicated effectively with pupils and colleagues to ensure goals are met, to make revision and reviews


• Discovered pupil’s skills inability and presented it to their parents for follow up


• Responsible for organizing classes and learning resources to create a positive learning environment.


• Maintaining productive working habits and discipline in the classroom.


• Supervising students throughout the day, both in the classroom and outside during breaks.


• Assessing and evaluating students’ educational progress and abilities.Use relevant data to monitor progress, set targets, and plan subsequent lessons


• Create lesson plans for each class based on the curriculum and the students’ specific needs


• Introduce interactive activities into the classroom and encourage pupils to contribute optimally


• Communicate with other team members as well as with parents about students’ progress and behaviour


• Join the rotation of teachers who assist with start-of-day and end-of-day student care procedures.

Requirements

• B.Sc, B.Ed, HND or NCE


• A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role.


• Outstanding interpersonal communication and customer service skills.


• Exceptional leadership abilities with great attention to detail.
