Job Summary
- The Business Development Officer is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building client relationships, and growing the company’s janitorial and facility management services through effective marketing and sales strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new clients for janitorial services
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate and individual clients
- Prepare and present service proposals and quotations
- Conduct market research to identify business trends and opportunities
- Meet monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Promote the company’s cleaning and facility services
- Follow up on leads, inquiries, and referrals
- Work closely with operations to ensure client satisfaction
- Maintain accurate records of clients and sales activities
- Assist in contract negotiations and renewals
Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum of OND/HND/BSc in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
- Proven experience in sales or business development (facility management is an advantage)
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to meet targets and work under pressure
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and CRM tools
- Professional appearance and customer-focused attitude
- 2 years work experience in the same field
- Able to think creatively and produce innovative solutions

- Number of new clients acquired
- Revenue generated from janitorial services
- Client retention rate
- Conversion rate of leads to contracts
- This is a 100% Commission - Based role
