Job Description







  • The Asset Management & Capital Markets Officer will be responsible for managing investment portfolios, executing capital market transactions, and providing analytical support to optimize returns while managing risk. The role requires strong financial acumen, market insight, and adherence to regulatory and compliance standards.



Key Responsibilities




  • Manage and monitor investment portfolios across equities, fixed income, money market instruments, and alternative assets.

  • Conduct financial and market analysis to support investment decisions and asset allocation strategies.

  • Execute capital market transactions in line with approved investment mandates and risk guidelines.

  • Track market trends, economic indicators, and regulatory developments affecting capital markets.

  • Prepare investment reports, performance reviews, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.

  • Support fund structuring, valuation, and pricing of investment products.

  • Ensure compliance with SEC, NGX, and other regulatory requirements.

  • Liaise with brokers, custodians, registrars, and other market operators.

  • Participate in client meetings and provide investment insights and advisory support.

  • Contribute to product development and capital raising initiatives.



Qualifications & Experience




  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Professional certifications such as CFA, ACA, ACCA, CIS, or ICAN are an advantage.

  • Minimum of 2–7 years’ experience in asset management, investment banking, or capital markets.

  • Strong knowledge of Nigerian and global capital markets.

  • Proficiency in financial modeling, valuation, and portfolio analysis.

  • Experience with investment research tools and Microsoft Excel/Power BI.
