Role Description

• This is a full-time, on-site position based in Port Harcourt for a Health Safety Environment Coordinator.


• The role involves implementing and monitoring workplace safety measures, ensuring compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations, and conducting safety audits.


• The Coordinator will develop and deliver safety training programs, assess risks, and recommend solutions to maintain a safe work environment.


• Additional responsibilities include promoting a culture of safety and health within all organizational operations.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Health & Safety, Occupational Health, and Environment Health and Safety (EHS) practices


• Experience in managing Workplace Safety and conducting risk assessments


• Ability to develop and deliver Safety Training programs


• Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and compliance standards in the Oil and Energy sector


• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills


• Certification in Occupational Health and Safety or related fields (e.g., NEBOSH or OSHA certification) is preferred


• Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the Oil and Energy industry


• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health, Environmental Sciences, or a related field is an advantage
