- Oversee the daily "flow" of the lounge, including opening/closing procedures, ambiance control (lighting, music, temperature), and ensuring the facility is clean and well-maintained.
- Recruit, train, and schedule staff (bartenders, servers, hosts). You are responsible for motivating the team and conducting performance reviews.
- Act as the "face" of the lounge. You’ll handle VIP guests, resolve customer complaints, and ensure every patron receives attentive service.
- Manage budgets, profit & loss, track daily sales, and implement strategies to increase revenue (e.g., happy hours, event bookings, or loyalty programs).
- Monitor stock levels for spirits, garnishes, and supplies. Negotiate with vendors and ensure all orders stay within cost-of-goods-sold (COGS) targets.
- Ensure the establishment follows all local liquor laws, health codes, and safety regulations. This includes checking IDs and managing "over-serving" protocols.
Qualifications / Experience
- HND / B.Sc Degree in Hospitality or Business is preferred for luxury venues.
- 6–10 years of experience managing a high-end restaurant.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Food Handlers Certificate, Responsible Service of Alcohol/TIPS). will be an added advantage.
