Job Summary




  • The Assistant Head Chef supports the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations, ensuring high food quality standards, and maintaining efficient workflow.

  • The role requires strong culinary skills, leadership ability, and a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences.



Key Responsibilities




  • Assist the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations and menu execution.

  • Supervise kitchen staff and ensure compliance with food preparation standards.

  • Ensure consistency in food quality, taste, and presentation.

  • Monitor food inventory, stock levels, and minimize wastage.

  • Enforce hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards at all times.

  • Train and mentor kitchen staff to improve performance and skills.

  • Step in for the Head Chef when required.

  • Collaborate with management on menu planning and special events.



Requirements & Qualifications




  • Diploma or certification in Culinary Arts or related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a professional kitchen environment.

  • Prior experience in a supervisory or assistant chef role is an advantage.

  • Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen best practices.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills.
