Job Description







  • Learning and Development (L&D) Officer is responsible for identifying training needs, developing learning initiatives, and implementing programs that support employee growth and organizational performance.

  • The role involves coordinating training sessions, evaluating their effectiveness, and ensuring continuous improvement of learning processes.



Key Responsibilities




  • Identify organizational and employee training needs through assessments, surveys, and performance analysis.

  • Develop, design, and implement training programs, workshops, and learning materials.

  • Coordinate internal and external training activities, including scheduling, communication, and logistics.

  • Maintain updated records of training activities, attendance, and outcomes.

  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and recommend improvements.

  • Support managers and team leads with learning resources and development tools.

  • Collaborate with HR to integrate learning initiatives into employee performance and development plans.

  • Monitor learning industry trends and introduce best practices to the organization.

  • Manage learning platforms and e-learning tools where applicable.



Requirements




  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • 1–3 years of experience in Learning & Development, HR, Training, or related roles.

  • Relevant certifications in Learning & Development, Talent Management, or HR (added advantage).

  • Experience designing and facilitating training programs is an added advantage.



Skills and Competencies:




  • Strong communication and presentation skills.

  • Ability to design effective learning materials.

  • Good organizational and coordination skills.

  • Proficiency in MS Office tools and learning management systems (LMS).

  • Strong analytical and evaluation skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
