Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Management:
- Supervise and mentor the procurement team, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Drive team performance through coaching, training, and disciplinary measures where necessary.
Procurement Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Negotiate contracts and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Ensure timely sourcing of goods and services at competitive prices without compromising quality.
Compliance & Governance:
- Enforce procurement policies and ethical standards across all transactions.
- Monitor and evaluate supplier performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
Budget & Cost Control:
- Manage procurement budgets and track cost-saving initiatives.
- Analyze market trends to identify opportunities for cost optimization.
Reporting & Documentation:
- Prepare and present procurement reports to management.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier agreements.
Qualifications
- Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree with 5 - 10 years experience.
