The Security Officer is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of company premises, employees, assets, and visitors. The role involves enforcing security procedures, monitoring surveillance systems, conducting patrols, and responding promptly to incidents to maintain a secure working environment.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Enforce company security policies, access control, and safety procedures.


• Monitor CCTV cameras, alarm systems, and other surveillance equipment.


• Conduct routine patrols within and around company premises.


• Prevent unauthorized access, theft, vandalism, or other illegal activities.


• Respond promptly to emergencies, alarms, and security incidents.


• Record and report all security observations, incidents, and irregularities.


• Assist in the investigation of accidents or security breaches.


• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and emergency protocols.


• Support the management team in enforcing disciplinary and ethical standards.

Requirements

• Minimum of OND or equivalent qualification.


• Minimum of 10 years of experience at officer level or 20 years at supervisory level in industrial or corporate security operations.


• Proven knowledge of security and safety practices.


• Experience with security technology (CCTV, access control, alarm systems).


• Strong observation, communication, and reporting skills.


• Strong knowledge of access control, surveillance operations, and safety procedures.
