Job Summary:




  • As an Enterprise Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing complex network solutions for our enterprise clients. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure network reliability, security, and performance.



Key Responsibilities:




  • Design and implement enterprise-grade network architectures, including LAN, WAN, and WLAN.

  • Configure and maintain network hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.

  • Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimise network reliability and efficiency.

  • Collaborate with security teams to implement and maintain network security measures.

  • Conduct regular network assessments and audits to identify potential vulnerabilities and areas for improvement.

  • Document network configurations, changes, and procedures.

  • Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams and end-users.

  • Stay updated on the latest networking technologies and trends to implement best practices.



Qualifications:




  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. ( 2:1 or Upper Credit is a must)

  • Proven experience as a Network Engineer or similar role, with a strong focus on enterprise networks.

  • Proficiency in configuring and managing networking devices (Cisco, Juniper, microwave radios, etc.).

  • Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, etc.) and security practices.

  • Experience with network monitoring tools and technologies.

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+) are a plus.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under minimal supervision.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
