We’re looking for a motivated and research-savvy Grant Writing Intern to support the development of proposals and funding applications.
This role is ideal for someone looking to grow their writing skills while contributing to the sustainability and expansion of transformative educational projects.
Key Responsibilities
Research potential grant opportunities, donor organizations, and funding programs.
Assist in writing and editing grant proposals, concept notes, and letters of inquiry.
Help maintain a grants calendar and track deadlines, submissions, and outcomes.
Support the preparation of reports and supporting documents for grant applications.
Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary information and project data.
Assist in maintaining donor and grantor databases.
What We’re Looking For
Strong writing, editing, and research skills.
Background in English, Communications, Development Studies, or related field.
Familiarity with nonprofit work, fundraising, or academic writing is an advantage.
Ability to synthesize information and write clearly and persuasively.
Detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated.
Eagerness to learn the grant writing process from concept to submission.
