About the Company
- We are a growing FMCG company engaged in the production, sales, and distribution of consumer goods across multiple markets.
- As part of our expansion strategy, we are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Business Manager to drive sales growth, manage operations, and strengthen market presence.
Key Responsibilities
Business & Sales Management:
- Develop and implement business strategies to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
- Oversee sales operations, distribution channels, and key customer relationships.
- Monitor sales performance, targets, and KPIs across regions and channels.
- Identify new business opportunities, markets, and partnerships.
- Ensure effective pricing, promotion, and product placement strategies.
Operations & Team Leadership:
- Supervise sales, marketing, and operational teams to ensure efficiency and productivity.
- Coordinate with production, logistics, and warehouse teams to ensure product availability.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and operational standards.
- Prepare business reports, forecasts, and performance updates for management.
Financial & Strategic Oversight:
- Manage budgets, control costs, and improve profitability.
- Track expenses, margins, and return on investment across business activities.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior.
- Provide strategic recommendations to management based on market insights.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree / HND in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 - 8 years’ experience in an FMCG, sales-driven, or consumer goods environment.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales and revenue targets.
- Strong knowledge of distribution networks, route-to-market, and trade marketing.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
- MBA or relevant professional certification is an added advantage.
