Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities;
- Liaise with reporting manager & vendors to determine requirements and budget.
- Manage tasks from typesetting through to design, print and production.
- Advising and briefing reporting manager and concerned team members in regards to design style, format, print production and timescales.
- Develop concepts, graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos etc.
- Determine size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, font style and size.
- Prepare rough drafts of material based on an agreed brief.
- Review final layouts and suggesting improvements if required.
- Liaise with external printers on a regular basis to ensure deadlines are met and material is printed to the highest quality.
- Maintain Vendor's list
- Perform any other task as assigned by the reporting manager.
- Competencies Required for This Position
- Excellent IT skills, especially with design and photo-editing software.
- Exceptional creativity and innovation.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- An understanding of the latest trends and their roles within a commercial environment.
- Professional approach to time, costs and deadlines.
- Candidate should at least possess a minimum of two(2) years experience in same capacity.
- Candidate must be a graduate with at least an HND Qualification.
