The Accountant/Auditor will manage the hotel’s financial records, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and provide accurate financial reporting. This role is crucial in maintaining transparency, controlling costs, and supporting strategic financial decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate accounting records for all hotel operations.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
Monitor cash flow, accounts payable/receivable, and budgeting.
Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and cost-saving opportunities.
Ensure timely filing of taxes and statutory financial reports.
Collaborate with management to prepare financial forecasts and reports for decision-making.
Implement and maintain financial controls to minimize risk.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent) is an advantage.
Proven experience in accounting, auditing, or finance management, preferably in the hospitality industry.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
High level of integrity, attention to detail, and confidentiality.
