Key Responsibilities
- Identify and monitor protection risks affecting vulnerable individuals and communities.
- Provide protection case management support and facilitate timely referrals in line with SOPs.
- Support awareness, sensitization, and community engagement sessions on protection issues.
- Monitor and document protection concerns including GBV, child protection, and displacement-related risks.
- Engage with community leaders, protection committees, and other community structures.
- Coordinate with service providers and partners to ensure comprehensive protection responses.
- Support the implementation of accountability and complaint and feedback mechanisms (CFM).
- Ensure confidentiality, survivor-centered approaches, and data protection at all times.
- Prepare timely and accurate protection activity reports.
- Contribute to creating a safe, inclusive, and protective environment for affected populations.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Gender Studies, Development Studies, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in protection or humanitarian programming.
- Experience working with displaced or vulnerable populations is an advantage.
- Knowledge of protection principles, GBV, child protection, and referral pathways.
- Fluency in English and the ability to speak and understand local language(s).
