  • The ideal candidate brings deep retail expertise, commercial acumen, and proven leadership in the fashion or lifestyle sector. They will play a key role in aligning retail operations with the company’s broader business goals and customer expectations.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES




  • Provide strategic leadership for all retail and sales operations nationwide, ensuring alignment with the company’s commercial goals and long-term growth plans.

  • Monitor evolving retail trends, shifts in consumer behavior, and advancements in technology to keep the business agile and ahead of the curve.

  • Assess the performance and viability of store locations, overseeing new openings, relocations, and closures with clear financial justification and brand alignment.

  • Drive operational excellence by improving store layouts, merchandising standards, and day-to-day processes that enhance efficiency, staff productivity, and customer experience.

  • Develop and implement sales growth strategies across all physical retail channels, including new formats, partnerships, and experiential initiatives.

  • Lead the execution of marketing promotions, loyalty programs, and community-focused activities that boost store traffic and strengthen customer engagement.

  • Build and lead a high-performing retail team, setting clear objectives, fostering professional development, and implementing structured performance and succession planning.

  • Embed a customer-first mindset across all retail functions, using insights and analytics to shape personalized, seamless shopping experiences.

  • Collaborate with supply chain and inventory teams to ensure accurate stock levels, timely replenishment, and an optimized product mix tailored to each store’s market.

  • Strengthen inventory controls and minimize losses by enforcing compliance, tightening operational discipline, and reducing risk of shrinkage across all outlets.



Requirements




  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, Marketing, or a related field. Master’s degree is an advantage.

  • Minimum of 12 years' experience in retail operations or sales leadership, ideally within fashion or premium lifestyle brands.

  • Strong financial and commercial acumen with a track record of driving revenue and operational efficiency.

  • Proven experience managing multi-location teams and delivering results across diverse regions.

  • Solid understanding of consumer behavior and trends in the premium retail market, preferably in children’s apparel.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, ERP systems, and POS platforms.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

  • A strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to execution and problem-solving.
