We are seeking an experienced Expat Civil Engineer to join our team and support the planning, execution, and supervision of civil engineering projects. The ideal candidate will have 5–10 years of professional experience, with prior experience in Nigeria preferred, and strong communication skills in English.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, manage, and supervise civil engineering projects from design through completion
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in compliance with applicable standards and regulations
Coordinate with project managers, contractors, consultants, and local authorities
Review technical drawings, specifications, and construction methodologies
Monitor site activities to ensure quality, safety, and compliance with engineering best practices
Prepare technical reports, progress updates, and documentation
Identify and resolve technical and on-site challenges efficiently
Support project planning, cost control, and risk management activities
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (Master’s degree is an advantage)
Minimum 5–10 years of relevant civil engineering experience
Previous work experience in Nigeria is strongly preferred
Proven experience working on infrastructure, construction, or large-scale civil projects
Strong knowledge of engineering standards, codes, and construction practices
Fluent in English (spoken and written) – mandatory
Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and international environment
Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Professional engineering certification or license
Experience working as an expat or on international projects
