  • Undertake relevant research

  • Produce and implement designs and bids (with input from other key stakeholders) as well as involvement in all phases of proposal writing-Conceptual Studies; Basic; FEED; Detailed Design; Procurement through to Commissioning.

  • Project work will include development of Instrument Engineering deliverables as required on a project by project basis.

  • Inspection support services using the Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) technique to determine the assets integrity

  • Refractory installation, inspection and maintenance services for furnaces, incinerators, boilers and refractory repairs.

  • Cleaning/Maintenance of heat exchangers usingunique HEX equipment, which uses low pressured water instead of the conventional hydro-blasting method

  • Create test procedures and develop corporate procedures, standards, specifications and the required design tools for compliance with the SHE policy and efficient execution of production work

  • Test, evaluate, modify and calibrate products and instruments

  • Write reports and prepare documentation

  • Analyse and interpret data

  • Collaborate with technical and non-technical staff

  • Provide technical support.

  • Make presentations and attend meetings

  • Offering engineering advice and ensuring performance standards are adhered to

  • Representing the company in asset support contracts

  • Prepare and agree project budgets, timescales and specifications with clients and managers


Education & Experience



  • Minimum of BSc. in Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or any other related course.

  • Formalised degree or equivalent technical experience

  • At least 5 years hands-on experience as an Instrumentation Engineer in Oil and Gas Industry.

  • Demonstrated technical and leadership/project management experience

  • Must be able to measure, maintain repair, design, install and troubleshoot industrial system/machines

  • Theoretical and practical knowledge of technical know-how

  • Knowledge of the Oil and Gas Contingent Labour industry and jargon.

  • Should have an experience in the Oil and Gas sector.

  • Must be detail oriented and have passion for system repair and
