We are supporting a leading organization in the Gas and Energy Infrastructure sector to recruit a Systems & Business Process Manager to drive enterprise-wide process effectiveness, systems governance, and continuous improvement.



This role is critical to ensuring that business processes, document control systems, and change initiatives are aligned with the company’s strategic objectives and operational realities. The successful candidate will work across functions to improve efficiency, strengthen governance, and support scalable growth.



Role Overview



The Systems & Business Process Manager will evaluate, design, implement, and continuously improve business processes and systems across the organization. The role has strong accountability for document management systems, process governance, change management, and user adoption, working closely with technical, operational, and corporate teams.



This position requires someone who can see the end-to-end value chain, challenge the status quo, and lead structured improvements in complex, project-driven environments.



Key Responsibilities




  • Design, implement, and continuously improve business process frameworks aligned with organizational strategy

  • Oversee and maintain the company’s Document Management Systems (DMS), ensuring version control, auditability, and compliance

  • Develop and enforce document control procedures across projects, operations, and programs

  • Lead process standardization, documentation, and governance across departments

  • Support enterprise systems adoption through effective change management and user engagement

  • Work with stakeholders to identify inefficiencies, risks, and improvement opportunities across processes

  • Ensure proper documentation control for engineering drawings, specifications, and project records

  • Drive data governance practices covering data quality, security, and process integrity

  • Support system and process integration initiatives across multiple projects and platforms

  • Provide training and guidance to users to encourage adoption of systems and paper-light operations

  • Monitor performance, generate reports, and support audits and compliance requirements



Required Experience & Qualifications




  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline

  • Master’s degree or MBA is an added advantage

  • Minimum of 10 years’ relevant post-graduate experience, preferably within Oil & Gas or energy-related organizations

  • Strong background in Business Process Management, Process Excellence, or Document Control

  • Experience managing enterprise or project systems (e.g. Oracle, Siterra, workflow platforms, document control tools)

  • Proven experience driving process change, systems adoption, and stakeholder engagement

  • Familiarity with project and process methodologies (PMBOK, PRINCE2, SDLC, Agile or similar)

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
