Description




  • The Camera Operator is responsible for capturing high-quality video content that aligns with Detail and Avedia’s creative direction, storytelling standards, and client expectations.

  • This role works closely with directors, producers, and editors to bring concepts to life through visually compelling footage.



Key Responsibilities




  • Operate professional video cameras for shoots including commercials, branded content, interviews, events, and social media productions

  • Set up and manage camera equipment, lenses, tripods, gimbals, lighting, and audio support where required

  • Interpret shot lists, scripts, and creative briefs to execute the desired visual style

  • Frame shots creatively while maintaining technical accuracy (focus, exposure, composition, white balance)

  • Collaborate with directors, creative leads, and editors during pre-production, production, and post-production

  • Ensure all footage meets quality standards and is properly backed up and handed over for editing

  • Maintain and properly handle camera equipment before, during, and after shoots

  • Adapt quickly on set to changing creative or logistical requirements

  • Follow production schedules and meet tight deadlines.



Required Skills & Qualifications




  • Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree

  • Proven experience as a Camera Operator or Videographer

  • Strong understanding of camera systems, lenses, and shooting formats

  • Solid knowledge of lighting principles and on-set camera techniques

  • Ability to shoot for different platforms (digital, social media, commercial, corporate)

  • Good eye for composition, movement, and visual storytelling

  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

  • Strong attention to detail and professionalism on set.



Preferred Qualifications:




  • Experience working in a creative agency or production environment

  • Knowledge of basic sound recording for video

  • Familiarity with post-production workflows and editing requirements

  • Portfolio or reel showcasing previous work.
