Job Summary




  • We are looking for a reliable and skilled Cook to join our hotel’s kitchen team.

  • The ideal candidate will assist in the preparation and cooking of high-quality meals, ensuring that all dishes meet the hotel’s standards for taste, presentation, and hygiene.

  • This role is essential for providing a memorable dining experience for our guests.



Key Responsibilities




  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to the hotel’s menu and recipes.

  • Assist the Chef in planning daily menus and specials.

  • Ensure proper portioning and plating of meals for consistent presentation.

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area at all times.

  • Follow food safety and hygiene standards in handling, storing, and preparing food.

  • Monitor stock levels of ingredients and notify the Chef or Supervisor when supplies need replenishing.

  • Minimize food wastage and assist with inventory control.

  • Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

  • Assist with catering for events, banquets, and room service as required.

  • Perform any other kitchen-related duties assigned by the Chef or Kitchen Supervisor.



Qualifications & Skills




  • Basic knowledge of various cooking techniques, kitchen equipment, and food safety procedures.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple orders at once.

  • Strong attention to detail, creativity, and a passion for food preparation.

  • Good communication and teamwork skills.

  • Physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods.

  • Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays.
