We are seeking diligent and detail-oriented Housekeepers to join our hotel team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces are clean, well-maintained, and presented according to hotel standards.
This position is crucial for providing guests with a comfortable and welcoming stay.
Key Responsibilities
Clean and tidy guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and other assigned areas.
Change bed linens, replace towels, and replenish room amenities.
Sweep, mop, dust, and vacuum rooms and public areas.
Report any maintenance issues, damages, or missing items to the Supervisor immediately.
Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are used safely and stored properly.
Maintain the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness throughout the hotel.
Assist in laundry services when necessary.
Follow hotel policies, procedures, and health & safety guidelines.
Respond promptly to guest requests and provide excellent customer service.
Work collaboratively with other housekeeping staff to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications & Skills
Previous housekeeping experience (hotel or hospitality experience preferred but not mandatory).
Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Physical stamina – ability to bend, lift, and stand for extended periods.
Knowledge of cleaning products, equipment, and safe handling procedures.
Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
