Job Description:

• Lajfort Schools is seeking a highly competent and dedicated Further Mathematics and Physics Teacher to join our secondary school located in Iju, Ota, Ogun State. The ideal candidate must be able to effectively teach both Further Mathematics and Physics at the senior secondary school level and prepare students for internal and external examinations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Further Mathematics and Physics to senior secondary school students


• Prepare detailed lesson plans aligned with the approved curriculum


• Deliver clear, engaging, and student-focused lessons


• Assess, record, and report students’ academic progress


• Prepare students for examinations (WAEC/NECO as applicable)


• Maintain classroom discipline and a positive learning environment


• Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and other school activities


• Support students’ academic and intellectual development

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) in Mathematics, Physics, or related discipline

OR

• Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or related field with PGDE


• Ability to teach both Further Mathematics and Physics is mandatory


• TRCN certification is an added advantage


• Minimum of 1–3 years teaching experience at the secondary school level (preferred)


• Strong subject mastery and problem-solving skills


• Excellent communication and classroom management skills


• Basic ICT skills and familiarity with modern teaching methods
