Job Summary
- Sky Rock Hotels is seeking a diligent and reliable Kitchen Cleanerto maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic kitchen environment.
- The ideal candidate will support kitchen operations by ensuring all cleaning and sanitation standards are consistently met in line with hotel and food safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize kitchen floors, walls, drains, work surfaces, and equipment.
- Wash dishes, utensils, pots, and pans as required.
- Properly dispose of waste and ensure garbage areas are kept clean at all times.
- Maintain cleanliness of storage areas, refrigerators, and freezers.
- Follow established hygiene, health, and safety standards at all times.
- Assist kitchen staff with basic non-cooking tasks when required.
- Ensure cleaning supplies and tools are used correctly and stored properly.
- Report any damaged equipment, hazards, or maintenance issues to the Kitchen Supervisor.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Previous experience in a kitchen or cleaning role is an advantage but not mandatory.
- SSCE or any educational qualification
- Basic knowledge of food hygiene and cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work long hours and stand for extended periods.
- Physically fit and able to handle cleaning equipment and materials.
- Honest, punctual, and detail-oriented.
- Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions.
