Role Overview
- The Managing Director will be responsible for overall business leadership, with particular emphasis on business development, client acquisition, revenue growth, and market expansion within the public sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute the firm’s growth strategy for public-sector consulting engagements
- Identify, originate, and close new business opportunities across government institutions, agencies, and parastatals
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior public-sector stakeholders and decision-makers
- Drive go-to-market strategies, proposals, pitches, and contract negotiations
- Oversee delivery quality, client satisfaction, and long-term account growth
Required Experience & Profile
- 8+ years’ experience in a senior managerial or executive role
- Strong background engaging the public sector, preferably within financial services, consulting, or regulated institutions
- Demonstrated success in business development, revenue generation, and stakeholder management
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to negotiate and close complex deals
- Excellent leadership, presentation, and communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (postgraduate qualification is an advantage)
