Job Description
Position Summary:
- The Business Development Manager will play a pivotal role in identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and driving sales growth for our solar energy products and solutions. This role requires a strong technical understanding of solar systems, combined with proven business development experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the solar energy sector.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitor activity.
- Collaborate with the engineering and technical teams to deliver tailored solar solutions.
- Prepare proposals, presentations, and reports for clients and management.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
- Represent the company at industry events and networking opportunities.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related fields).
- 3–5 years of proven experience in solar sales or renewable energy business development.
- Strong understanding of solar systems, products, and technical specifications.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a cross-functional team.
- Based in Abuja or willing to relocate.
