Position Summary:




  • The Business Development Manager will play a pivotal role in identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and driving sales growth for our solar energy products and solutions. This role requires a strong technical understanding of solar systems, combined with proven business development experience.



Key Responsibilities:




  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the solar energy sector.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.

  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitor activity.

  • Collaborate with the engineering and technical teams to deliver tailored solar solutions.

  • Prepare proposals, presentations, and reports for clients and management.

  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs.

  • Represent the company at industry events and networking opportunities.



Qualifications & Requirements:




  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related fields).

  • 3–5 years of proven experience in solar sales or renewable energy business development.

  • Strong understanding of solar systems, products, and technical specifications.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

  • Ability to work independently, as well as part of a cross-functional team.

  • Based in Abuja or willing to relocate.
