Job Description
Role Overview:
- The Senior Procurement Officer will be responsible for managing the procurement process, vendor relationships, and sourcing strategies to ensure timely, cost-effective, and high-quality supply of goods and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end procurement activities, including sourcing, negotiation, and purchasing.
- Identify, evaluate, and maintain relationships with reliable suppliers and vendors.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and payment terms to achieve cost savings.
- Ensure procurement processes comply with company policies and regulatory standards.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with relevant departments to avoid shortages.
- Prepare procurement reports, forecasts, and documentation.
- Track market trends and supplier performance to support strategic decisions.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of proven experience in procurement or supply chain roles.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and vendor management skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in procurement tools and Microsoft Office.
- Must be based in Lagos or willing to relocate.
