Reports To: Hospitality Manager/Managing Director
Role Summary
The Receptionist will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, providing a warm, professional, and efficient front-desk experience. The role involves managing incoming communication, supporting administrative tasks, and ensuring smooth day-to-day reception operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Manage the front desk and maintain a tidy and organised reception area
- Answer, screen, and route phone calls and emails
- Provide information and assistance to clients, guests, and staff
- Maintain visitor logs and issue visitor passes where applicable
- Schedule and manage appointments, meetings, and room bookings
- Receive and distribute mail, packages, and deliveries
- Support general administrative duties such as filing, photocopying, scanning, and data entry
- Assist with office supply inventory and ordering
- Uphold confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally
- Follow company policies and maintain high customer service standards
- Maintain a pleasant and professional atmosphere in the waiting area by keeping noise levels low and guiding guests to avoid unnecessary conversations.
Qualifications & Experience
- OND / HND / Degree in any field preferred
- Previous experience in a receptionist, front desk, or administrative role is an advantage
- Fluency in spoken and written English (or relevant language) is required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
