Job Overview




  • We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Administrative Officer to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of daily administrative functions, manage and coordinate the Academy’s day-to-day administrative operations, supporting management, support staff and students, maintain accurate records, and uphold professional administrative standards across the Academy, and enhancing office efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.



Duties




  • Manage daily administrative operations of the Academy

  • Maintain accurate records of staff, students, and official documents

  • Coordinate schedules, meetings, and appointments for senior management

  • Handle correspondence (emails, letters, notices) professionally and promptly

  • Manage office supplies, inventory, and administrative assets

  • Support onboarding and documentation of staff and tutors

  • Assist with student registration, documentation, and enquiries

  • Prepare administrative reports and update management regularly

  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and administrative procedures

  • Collaborate with various departments to facilitate effective communication and workflow

  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information at all times



Experience




  • Proven experience in administrative or office management roles preferred

  • Basic data entry and reporting skills

  • Minimum of OND/HND/bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field

  • Experience in an academic or training environment is an added advantage

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) or Google Workspace

  • Familiarity with office management systems and administrative tools

  • Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail

  • Effective verbal and written communication abilities

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently in a dynamic environment

  • Experience working with diverse teams and handling confidential information is a plus
