Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Process monthly payroll accurately and in a timely manner for all employees.
- Ensure correct computation of salaries, allowances, bonuses, deductions, and overtime.
- Manage statutory deductions and remittances (PAYE, pension, NHF, NSITF, etc.).
- Maintain and update employee payroll records and payroll systems.
- Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee payroll-related inquiries.
- Prepare payroll reports for management review and decision-making.
- Support internal and external audits by providing required payroll documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and labor laws.
- Collaborate with HR and Finance teams on payroll and employee data updates.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2–4 years’ experience in payroll processing or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of payroll regulations and statutory compliance in Nigeria.
- Proficiency in payroll systems and accounting software.
- Advanced Excel skills for payroll analysis and reporting.
- High attention to detail and strong numerical accuracy.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
