Key Responsibilities




  • Clean, stock and supply designated facility areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc).

  • Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities.

  • Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects.

  • Notify Line Manager of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs.

  • Adjust minor repairs.

  • Stock and maintain supply rooms.

  • Cooperate with the rest of the staff.

  • Clean and disinfect restrooms and ensure that soap and paper dispensers are well-stocked.

  • Cleaning spills, broken glass and other messes up as quickly as possible.

  • Ordering new cleaning supplies as needed.



Person Specification




  • Capable of following instructions and learn new techniques.

  • Strong time management skills to ensure all work is completed by the end of shift.

  • Demonstrate an understanding of standard cleaning supplies and equipment.

  • Self-starter who takes the initiative to determine and complete necessary tasks, even with minimal supervision.

  • Positive attitude and ability to work as part ofa team.

  • Must be physically capable of performing 8 hours of physical work each day.

  • Possess a strong attention to detail.

  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent (WAEC, NECO, CCE).

  • At least 1-2 years of experience in janitorial or sanitation services, preferably in a corporate or media environment.

  • Experience working in a shift-based or 24/7 operational setting is highly desirable.
