Job Description
Core Responsibilities:
- Client Education & Consultation:Explain solar/inverter systems, their components (panels, inverters, batteries), benefits (cost savings, reliable power), and technical specifics to potential customers.
- Needs Assessment:Analyze a client's energy usage and requirements to propose suitable system sizes (e.g., 1.5KVA, 3.5KVA) and configurations.
- Sales & Negotiation:Provide cost estimates, financial analyses, handle objections, and close sales, often involving performance-based incentives.
- Business Development:Identify new leads, contact potential clients, and plan new marketing initiatives to expand the customer base.
- Relationship Management:Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, channel partners (installers, distributors), and key stakeholders.
- Market Penetration:Expand sales networks in specific regionsin Abuja or Lagos, leveraging local knowledge.
- Technical Proficiency:Maintain up-to-date knowledge on inverter technologies, battery types (like Lithium), installation, and troubleshooting.
- Sales Strategy:Develop and execute plans to meet monthly/quarterly sales targets, often including B2B sales to installers.
- Representation:Attend trade shows, expos, and local events to promote products and meet potential clients.
Coordination and After-Sales Support:
- Installation Liaison:Collaborating with engineering and installation teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Relationship Management:Maintaining contact with clients post-installation to ensure system satisfaction and secure referrals.
- Reporting:Providing regular feedback to management on market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
Skills Required:
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

- Understanding of financial analysis for solar projects.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving energy market.
Experience:
Must be knowledgeable in online sales/marketing, particularly in solar/inverter and electronic items.
Note: For Lagos applicants, only residents around Ago Palace Way, Amuwo Odofin, Festac axis would be considered; while those residing around Apo Urban Market and environs are preferred for Abuja.
