Technical Presentation & Proposal: Preparing and Delivering technical presentations to explain company’s products, services and solutions to prospective business clients.
Familiarize with all the products and services offered by the company.
Securing Projects and Clients: Identify new business opportunities, cultivate strong relationships with decision-makers, and close deals to expand our client base.
Understanding Market Needs: Act as the company’s "eyes and ears" in the marketplace by gathering intelligence on industry trends, client challenges, and competitor activities. Provide valuable insights to engineering and R&D team to keep offerings competitive.
Strategic Growth and Partnerships:Business development specifically focuses on long-term strategy, such as exploring new market sectors (e.g., moving from civil engineering to renewable energy projects), forming strategic alliances with other firms, or developing new service lines
Financial Drive sales growth by meeting and exceeding monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and pitches to prospective clients.
Negotiate contracts and close deals in alignment with company policies and profitability goals.
Ensuring Financial Health: Contribute directly to revenue generation, ensuring the company’s financial sustainability and growth.
Maintaining meaningful relationship with existing clients to ensure that they are retained.
Attending networking activities to research and connect with prospectives clients.
Developing and executing sales and marketing strategies to grow business.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience in sales and business development, preferably in engineering, technical industries, oil & gas will be an added advantage.
Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence decision makers and stakeholders.
Market awareness and ability to translate technical solutions into business value.
Self-driven, target-oriented, and capable of working independently, with or without supervision and working as a team member.
High-level organizational skills for maintaining sales territory
Self-confidence to support persuasion and sales efforts.
