Responsibilities




  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions, including income, expenses, assets, and liabilities. Ensure records align with industry standards and regulations.

  • Preparation of Financial Statements: Prepare essential financial documents such as balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements to provide insights into the organization's financial health.

  • Auditing and Compliance: Conduct financial audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with tax regulations and accounting standards. This includes reconciling bank statements and preparing for external audits.

  • Data Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, costs, revenues, and financial commitments. Provide recommendations to management regarding resource utilization and budget forecasts.

  • Tax Preparation: Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with all tax laws and regulations. Advise on tax strategies to minimize liabilities.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to support financial planning and decision-making processes. Communicate findings and insights to stakeholders effectively.



Qualifications / Requirements




  • Educational Background: A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is typically required. Professional certifications such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant) may be preferred.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Excel is essential for managing financial data and reporting.

  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret financial data and make informed decisions.

  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial reporting and compliance.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
