Role Overview
- We are looking for a highly disciplined and analytical HR & Recruitment Officer at an early to mid-career stage, with a strong interest in science and technology and hands-on recruitment experience
- This role is suited to someone who has moved beyond entry-level work, is comfortable with responsibility, and is eager to grow into a strong HR professional through structured execution and accountability.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Talent Assessment:
- Conduct structured and accurate CV screening aligned with role requirements
- Prepare defensible shortlists with clear evaluation rationale
- Manage candidate pipelines using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
- Coordinate interviews and candidate communication professionally
- Maintain recruitment trackers and hiring data using Excel
HR Operations & Process Support:
- Support onboarding documentation and employee records management
- Maintain accurate HR databases and trackers
- Assist with HR reports and recruitment summaries
- Ensure attention to detail and process compliance across HR activities
Communication & Professional Standards:
- Communicate clearly and professionally with candidates and internal stakeholders
- Draft recruitment-related emails, interview notes, and internal summaries
- Handle sensitive information with confidentiality and sound judgment
Mandatory Requirements (Non-Negotiable)
- First degree in a Science discipline (Chemistry, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related fields)
- 2–3 years practical recruitment experience (not internship-only)
- Proven experience in Recruitment (CV screening and candidate shortlisting)
- Hands-on use of an ATS
- Strong proficiency in Excel (filters, trackers, basic analysis)
- Strong Proficiency in MS Forms
- Working knowledge of Canva
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent written and spoken English
