The Pharmacist will be responsible for ensuring the safe, effective, and rational use of medicines, supporting clinical teams, and maintaining high standards of pharmaceutical care.
Key Responsibilities
Dispense medications accurately in accordance with prescriptions and hospital protocols
Provide medication counseling and drug information to patients and healthcare professionals
Ensure proper storage, inventory control, and stock management of pharmaceuticals
Monitor drug interactions, adverse drug reactions, and medication errors
Maintain accurate pharmaceutical records and documentation
Ensure compliance with regulatory, ethical, and hospital standards
Participate in clinical meetings and continuous professional development
Requirements
Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D)
Full registration and current practicing license with the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN)
